About.
Here is a lot about me!

I'm a student at the University of Chicago, double-majoring in Anthropology and Music with a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. I am from Shanghai, and have since lived in Chicago, New England (Western Mass), Paris, and Tokyo. I speak English, Chinese, Japanese, and French!

I am passionate about introducing Asian musicians, Japanese artists in particular, to the US markets. Live performance and A&R are part of that, but lately I have been more interested in the ways music earns its keep outside the album, through brand partnerships, commissions, and placements in film, ads, games, etc.
Outside of music, Iām an avid traveler, foodie, home baker (anything non-fermentation related), and scuba diver!
Kraftwerk, Royal Albert Hall, 06/04/2026Within school, I co-founded UChicago's first music business organization, serve as publicity chair for Motet Choir, and produce communications assets for the Logan Center. I am also writing a thesis on Chinese online fan communities of Japanese celebrities.
Beyond Hyde Park, I consult for a Japanese music label on social campaigns for Ichika Nito and Mateus Asato, and on EU and US distribution. This summer I am interning at Music@Menlo, the chamber music festival founded by Wu Han and David Finckel.
P.S. I am also a registered travel advisor, mostly for friends. Happy to help plan your next trip!
